You Can See Everything has achieved some of the highest review scores of 2026, setting new records on Rotten Tomatoes and Letterboxd during its opening weekend.
The documentary-style project from Nathan Fielder, centred on Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes, has received strong praise from both critics and audiences.
According to Forbes, the film initially earned a 100% critics’ score on Rotten Tomatoes, becoming the only film of the year to reach that mark with more than 80 reviews.
After one negative review was added, its score fell to 99%, based on 101 reviews.
The film has also secured a 99% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, placing it ahead of other highly rated releases, including Spider-Man: Brand New Day, at 97%, and Project Hail Mary, at 95%.
On Letterboxd, You Can See Everything has reached an average rating of 4.7 out of five, making it the platform’s fourth-highest-rated entry at the time of reporting.
The ranking reportedly includes television series and a live Radiohead concert, meaning the film could be considered the highest-rated movie on the list.
However, the ratings remain subject to change as more viewers submit reviews.
Attention is now turning to the film’s box office performance.
Early estimates placed its opening weekend earnings at between $7 million and $8 million, while its reported production budget is approximately $5 million to $7 million.
With strong reviews and growing audience interest, the film could exceed initial commercial expectations.
Its critical reception raises the possibility of an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture, which would be a significant achievement for a documentary.
